What is the event?

Oakleigh Glendi, a popular family festival, brings joy, fun, and community connectedness to Oakleigh. Now celebrating its tenth year, this vibrant celebration takes place in Warrawee Park and has become one of Melbourne’s largest free cultural events, attracting over 20,000 people each year.  

 

With a wide range of attractions, including stage entertainment, amusements, food, artisan market stalls, kids’ area, cooking demonstrations, Oakleigh Glendi is considered a highlight on the Greek community calendar. 

When is the event?

Saturday the 31st of October 12pm - 10pm & Sunday the 1st of November 12pm - 7pm

Where is the event?

Warrawee Park, Corner of Drummond Street & Atherton Road, Oakleigh VIC 3166 

Where are the toilets?

There are two toilet locations.  

  • Permanent toilets (including accessible toilets) are located near the stage outside of the council building 

  • Temporary toilets are positioned on Atherton Road behind the main stage 

Where is First Aid?

The First Aid tent is located at the entrance near Drummond Street   

Where is free water?

A hydration station is available next to the Information Tent 

Is there a quiet room?

There is no indoor, quiet space, however there are plenty of open spaces and quiet areas under trees in the park 

Is there an ATM onsite?

There are no ATMs on site, but there are banks and ATMs available at the nearby shopping areas 

Where can I find free sunscreen? 

Free sunscreen is available at the Information Tent 

Can I bring my pets with me? 

Yes, pets are permitted but owners must follow the usual local laws including picking up after it and ensuring they are leashed. We strongly recommend that attendees do not bring their dogs to Saturday night’s activities due to the fireworks 

Is there free face painting?

Yes, there is free face painting.

Are there rides onsite? 

Yes, there is a number of rides to choose from along Drummond Street and near the playground. They are all ticketed / user pays. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket booth. 

What food/drink options are there? 

There are many food and drink options, mostly located along Atherton Road.

Is there a bar? 

There is an onsite bar selling alcohol throughout the event. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to access this area. Alcohol is not permitted outside of the bar area. 

Who is performing on the stage? 

Our 2026 program will be announced in the coming weeks, keep an eye on our social media pages for when our lineup drops!

Is there a raffle this year? 

Yes – tickets are available from the Information Tent and will also be available from roving ticket sellers. 

 

Prizes will be drawn on the Main Stage at 6:00pm on Sunday.
